Okay, There Are Approximately Three of Us Left Watching Heroes

Do we want to talk about it? Personally, I thought it was kind of dull. Yet, aspects of it were somewhat amusing.

  1. I watched it. I found the new Star Trek trailer to be the highlight of the episode. Other than that, the Sylar story wasn't all that interesting until he and his father started dueling a bit; the Clair story, as usual, is a snooze, as were most of the other stories. I feel like the writers spend most of their time moving chess pieces into position with attacks few and far between.

  2. Yes, that's a good way to describe it. It was all about lead up and no reward. As a result: snooze. Plus, bunny gutting is never pretty.

Is that star trek a pre-quel kind of thing?

  3. Yes, it's a kind of "portrait of the captain as a young man" kind of thing. Sylar plays the young Spock (though given the fact that Vulcans live a much longer life span than humans, the "young" Spock wouldn't really be noticeably different.)

  4. I can't believe you're making me say this again, but: geek.

  5. You do realize I wear that as a badge of honor, don't you?

  6. One could surmise that, yes. And if you were to, say, quiz me about the permutations of the Buffy-verse--in TV and comic form--as well as various academic theories related thereto, I think you'd see some really fancy geek footwork in action.
