Troubling news on our end. It looks like Graham's mast cell tumor may have spread despite his surgery in August. He has lumps on his head, chest, front legs, and groin. We're taking him to the vet tomorrow, but we're finding it hard to be optimistic.
Yeah, the spoiling has begun already. Graham has not been allowed in our bedroom (he always waits in front of the door for us to come out), but we lifted the rule as of last night and he slept at the foot of the bed curled in a ball.
News from his vet visit today is that they may or may not be tumors. They biopsied one and will have results in a few days. So, not out of the woods yet, but at least somewhat promising.
That's really encouraging! Let me know what you find out. This made me think of my friend's beagle, who recently developed growths. Very scary, but she found that dogs sometimes are predisposed to get benign fatty tumors--also, in one case for her pooch, actual warts. Eww.
