8:56: I'm Calling It.

The dress has met its demise. Despite heroic efforts, the damage was too great, the wounds were too deep.

Oh, that is a shame. It had such promise.

So, we have about three inches of snow on the ground right now though it's supposed to change to rain any minute now. This is the biggest snowfall of the season we've had yet.

It did have promise. I was quite fond of it and relished being able to actually wear it. Sigh.

Really?? Three inches is your max this year? You're welcome to some of ours. Between the snow, ice, and the sinkhole-like potholes swallowing up cars, it's hazardous and unpleasant here.

Could I resuscitate it?

On a completely different note, I fell down the stairs of the el and people couldn't get around me fast enough...bastards!

Possibly you could. I know exactly what I did wrong, about four steps back, and it's a question of securing a piece discreetly. I'll show it to you.

Man, what's wrong with people? Hope you didn't hurt yourself. Apart from the time I fell down the the stairs of the elevated tracks, I fell on the platform once and was stunned that not a single person asked if I was okay. I've done that. I just don't get it. Of course Andy could tell stories of people fainting on his train and no one else doing a thing.
