Peepian Dioramas
I'm not a fan of marshmallow anything, but these are cool (via Ms. Nikki). Is it just me, or do marshmallow peeps look more abstract than they used to? And peep as Marilyn Monroe? Creepy.
I do enjoy the combination of the punny and the pop-culture reference. But I found that the more clever the theme, the less impressive the actual peepian composition was.
For different reasons, I liked the rush-hour metro one (although the note that they used cardboard--really??--underscored that it was less carefully detailed than others). The crush of peeps did look anthropomorphic to me.
