Here are the results of pattern foray number 2 (tank top sold separately). The piece's life as a minidress was short, as I feel I have matured past excessive minidress action.
Next up, since I have more material: something with sleeves. Oooh. I know you can't wait.

Wow. That is really cute. I am impressed! I really like the neck line. Good job!
Cute, no? And it's actually pretty easy to do, once you get past the six or seven times you screw it up on the learning curve.
Strangely, I had to rip out more seams on this one than on the first one. I guess I had blind luck going in my favor earlier, rather than skill.
But if you feel like doing the sewing thing and want the pattern, let me know.
Looks good! Now you just need it to stop snowing so you can wear it out of the house.
Actually, since my office is routinely 85 degrees, this piece is entirely wearable all seasons of the year. It's all about strategic layering.
very nice. how did you like the plant/krauss cd? and the gram parsons? too twangy? not twangy enough?
I confess, I haven't listened to them yet. I went straight to the Olivia Tremor Control, plus I got a couple of cds at the library this weekend.
And something I was reminded of while working on another web write-up: The Holmes Brothers, State of Grace is a great CD. That is all.
Okay, the krauss/plant cd is nice. I didn't realize they were covers. Very bluesy.
