The police chief is warning residents of Flint, Mich., to pull up their trousers ... or else."Some people call it a fad," Chief David Dicks tells the Detroit Free Press, a fellow Gannett newspaper. "But I believe it's a national nuisance. It is indecent and thus it is indecent exposure, which has been on the books for years."

Of course, this makes me think of this strip:

Yeah, I'm wondering if the chicks are going to get busted for having their thongs show.
And, you know, accidents can happen.
Well, the visible thong is a relic of the late 90s. Most have the low rise thongs these days that avoid the problem. And also, I'm guessing the visible thong isn't as "offensive" to the right gentleman politician as the boxer shorts.
Mad rutty.
Oh, and I just gave notice at my current job. I got that new position at Westview, though we won't have to move to Boulder, CO for at least another year or so.
WOW!
Congratulations, that's really wonderful news! I hear Boulder is lovely, and it should be fantastic for the family in the next year or so.
What will your title be again? Are you Editorial Director? Do they want a production person to promote to insane heights, who can also work long distance for a while?
I have to say, though, this puts a crimp in the ski lodge, in that we can't do it in Canada.
same position for now: senior editor. I'll need to be in Boulder before they start giving me serious management duties.
As far as I can tell, all production is located in Boulder, even for New York imprints of the company.
