Heh. Another one of your fellow cold-climate transplants is not of the similar feeling.
About now, I'd take 81 degrees. I think it's the oppressiveness of sameness. I may also be better able to enjoy it as an abstract concept if I didn't have to deal with snow removal and lived somewhere urban, where unplowed/unshoveled sidewalks are pretty rare. It just takes so much effort to do anything when it's bitterly cold and you have to slog through a mess.
Yeah, not feeling it. I feel I can curl up with cat, hot chocolate, and quilt sans the bone-chilling cold, blizzard-like conditions, and having to haul out to shovel heavy, wet snow at 10:30 at night.
