Heroes, Ah Heroes

Kind of a snooze? And is Nichelle Nichols as bad an actor as she seems to be? Theories on what the hell's the deal with Silar?

I don't know, I kind of liked it. I'm not sure what the cousin's power is yet: she can learn anything she watches on t.v.? That seems a bit weird, but I guess why not? It appears Silar is still powerless, otherwise, he would have chosen a less prosaic way of killing "gringo #1" than with a brick. Not sure how he got from the jungle hideaway to Northern Mexico, but I'm hoping they'll explain that in a flashback. Also, why was the palmetto bug on the brick? The only other times they've shown that is when Silar has died and then come back to life, so does this other guy have that same power? Or is the palmetto bug an indication of something else? I think the snooze factor came from the fact that there was no development in the Peter or Hiro storylines, though. Are you happy your man shaved his beard?

I knew when we saw that brick that something bad was forthcoming. The thing that confused me too, though, was the giant scurrying bug. Somehow, I thought that Silar was able to kill the guy remotely with the bug, since I couldn't figure out how Silar got to him. Probably was just my not paying close attention.

Him dropped in the desert kind of disappointed me. I was looking forward to seeing him try to get off the island.

After all that, Claire not trusting her dad over random flying kid who drills her with questions? I get that she's a horny teenager, but good grief.

The wonder twins are going down early I think, because the stupidity is going to get them killed.

I do want Peter back in the game. And, yes, I'm thrilled that Nathan shaved the beard ("do we like the beard?" NO!).

Yes, I think the cousin can download skills she sees practiced on tv. I was wonder whether that translated to, say putting together a really fabulous room after watching Divine Design. Seems like there's be a whole lot of useless info to sift through.

You must have missed the part where Silar picks up the brick and follows the dude to where the payphone is. Presumably, he then went old school with the brick, grabbed the car keys and then ran back to confront the twins. I still don't think he has his powers back yet.

Ooops. That must have been when I ran to get food.

Yes, on the lack of powers, so I guess their scalps are intact until he figures out how to get them back.

I should mention, my excuse for missing the details is that I multitask while I watch. Obviously a bad idea.
