Speaking of Falsifiers of Metal

While it is very impressive that Def Leppard’s drummer drums with one arm, it does nothing to elevate their music from absolute crapitude.
So true, so true.

I would also like to take this opportunity to announce that there will be Heroes blogging, come the premiere. I'm expecting the lurkitudinous folks to dive right in (I'm looking at you, Nikki).

Yes, I am working from home this afternoon. Why do you ask?

Oh, it's on! Is Hiro trapped in medieval Japan forever? Is his Samurai role-model actually a hero like himself? How does Sylar transfer his life force out of his body into a cockroach and then return it, or is that not what he's doing? Did Nathan really die when Peter went nuclear or did he manage to fly away fast enough? Oh yeah, hit me baby.

But until I finish all my B-school applications, I may have to watch episodes later in the week, so I may have to stay off your blog until after I've seen each episode.

Don't make me weep with worry (again) over the fate of Nathan! He better be there, that's all I can say.

Also, as has been pointed out to me, Kristen Bell from Veronica Mars will be on this season too. That's to the good.

i have never watched heroes, so i will have little to contribute to these posts. does this mean i'm out of the club?

Nope, it means we dispatch our monkey minions to your house to hold you down, prop your eyes with toothpicks, and make you watch season 1, beginning to end, over and over and over.

You'll hate it at first, and you'll fight, but by the end, you will loooove Heroes and be able discuss.
